Are we becoming disconnected from each other through technology?

It seems like people are zoning out on iPods, cell phones, playing on the internet (like me right now) or just texting each other all the time. Too much on-line chat, too much Skyping, video chats, emailing, interactive on-line environments, mmo’s, and the list goes on. What about creating an innovative way for people to interact in PERSON with each other?

    yes, i agree.

the more technology we have to “connect” to each other, the more lonely we humans become…

100 years ago, people knew all of their neighbors and talked face to face. people then had true social skills…

    today, we’re in a pathetic state…

yes, that physical interaction (which used to be there) has been lost thru technology. But it’s been replaced with faster moving ways of doing things. Being “fast” isn’t always appropriate as it loses the finesse, etiquette, respect for each other, etc. that used to be there that was so valued.
