		<description>I'd stop short of demanding that you e-mail him, but I still think it's a good idea.  There could be lots of reasons for him to break off communication.

1. He went on vacation
2. He got very busy at work
3. Technical difficulties
4. His wife didn't share the opinion that it wasn't inappropriate.  This is quite possible depending on what was shared.  Remember that is doesn't have to be something sexual to be inappropriate.
5. He may not share the opinion that it wasn't inappropriate (for the same reasons as his wife).
6. He may not have considered you to be that close.

These are just a few of the possibilities (some good, some bad, some neutral).  In any case, there is nothing at all wrong with e-mailing him and asking why he's been out of touch.</description>
