I am going to make a list of reasons why we should get another dog, help?

I’ve been asking for another dog for a long time. I want to adopt a dog, my dad won’t let us get one etc etc. The usual. Anyways I’m emailing him a list of reasons why we should get another dog. But I need help thinking of some stuff to put. Any ideas? Thanks!

    You need a dog to protect you and your house! That’s all I can think of.

    1. You’ve gotten a job to pay for half of all of the expenses… oh you dont have a job, then you have no money for the dog?

    2. You already do ALL of the work with the other dog. You walk it twice a day. You even get up early before school to walk it. Oh, you dont. Well, why do you need another?

    You have a dog, go play with it!

    new dogs get both the new one and old one to be more used to other dogs,altough it can be hard it fills the house with more love,costs are not that bad,it is always nice having an extra dog just in case the old one dies. but remember do not force youre dad to get one considering that you have one already.my girlfriend has two dogs and had to wait a year before they got one

    1. I will pay for the dog
    2. I will pay for the dog’s flea medication
    3. I will pay for vet visits
    4. I will take the dog on walks 3 times a day
    5. I will bathe the dog up to once a week depending on how it smells
    5. I will pay for the dog’s food
    6. I will train the dog during the first few months after getting it
    7. etc.

    When parents say dogs are a lot of responsibility they are not joking, consider the breed and cost of caretaking before getting one

    I love dogs, but know what you are getting into

    Wellll why do you want another dog? I’m sure you can answer that question yourself.
    2 dogs is double the responsiblitiy…they are expensive so are you going to pay for it? They need exercise, so are you going to walk both dog everyday?

    1. They will tire themselves out so you wont have spazzy puppies
    2. They wont be lonely when you leave the house for long periods of time

    I reccomend getting oppisite genders though i have 2 dogs that are both male and they fight alot

    1.it will keep the other dog happy.
    2.you will not be bord when the other dog is somewhere else
    3.keeps your dad happy to see you happy
    4.the dog will keep your dad happy because it will play with him
