It sounds to me like he might want you back. I’d just play it cool for a while and see where the conversations lead. You need to be careful though. If he broke it off with you once before over something you did, he may be inclined to do the same thing again. Who wants to be on an emotional roller coaster?

He is reminiscing and between relationships. He is hoping to win you back. He’s an EX. You take all the people that you might want to date. People you have dated and are losers get an EX and don’t get dated. That means he is out of the game. Move on and forget him.

He broke up with you and then ignored you. He may not have anyone else around so you look to him like a stepping stone - don’t allow him to use you until he gets someone else. You said he was older did that play a part at the time? Because nothing has changed there. Stay friends but don’t sleep with him, it sounds like he could be looking for a stop gap and you’ll feel even worse. If you do stay friends then you can use it to your own advantage - it’s not who your out with but who you meet when you’re out!!

ive had the same experience with you before. but let me just tell you, some guys communicate with exes either just to get even, booty call or really wants u back. but then, trust ur instincts.. let him do everything. you’l know in the end what he really wants. just be natural and have dignity.. dont rush things… let him be… be a woman or a lady, not a girl

Don’t make the first move, for now just stay he friend route. If he wants a relationship let him be the one to pursue it. Like you said break up was over something you did. He may have forgiven you, but not forgotten. Sit tight, chat him up and reel him in, lol….Just wait it out. Good luck and remember don’t make the first move.
