Can someone help me with a mailing package question?

My boyfriend told me he sent a package for me in Mass on Thursday. I know Monday was a holiday, and I go to school in upper state Vermont. Today is Wednesday, when should I get it by? I want to know because I have vacation starting Saturday, and I’m nervous because he didn’t tell me what’s in it. I’m afraid of it sitting in a mail room for a week. Thanks!!

    You can call your post office and they can tell you exactly when you will recieve it.

    Sophie, if he used regular mail and not the priority service (which costs more), most packages take five to seven business days. That would have it to you by Friday–if it’s on the “five” end. If it’s six or seven, you’ll be gone when it arrives.

    Massachusetts to Vermont is a fairly short hop, and I’ve had packages come in as little as three business days when they’re not going far. I expect you’ll probably receive it before you leave.
