How do I hide addresses when I am doing a mass mailing?

Put every address in the BCC section, or “blind carbon copy.” Everybody will see themselves as being the only recipient.
(If you use gmail, you don’t have to put anything in the regular to: section and as far as I’m aware, you don’t have a limit on BCCs. I’ve sent about fifty BBCs in gmail at a time and it never notified me that the message wouldn’t work.)
The BCC line will hide all the addresses entered on it, from everyone—including each other and even themselves.
With Yahoo, you are required to put at least one valid entry on the TO line—otherwise, Yahoo won’t send it—-so, common practice is to put your own address, or alternate address, there—–and that’s the only thing that will be seen.
The only drawback with the BCC line, is that it allows only a limited number of addresses per email—–no one seems to know exactly how many, but it’s usually under 35 (depending on the size of the message).
