Pick Up on Demand service is where you can call an 800 number and request a pickup of your outgoing mail, at your convenience. This is not available everywhere and has a cost of $14.75 or so. The on demand service only assures a pickup on the same day, not a specific time of day. If you receive mail delivery from a USPS carrier, you can just have the carrier pick up at the time of your normal mail delivery. This is also something that the general public rarely uses.
