You are safer clearing the Blackberry first if it belonged to a friend. This will quickly allow you to get rid of all stored messages etc.

To do this you simply enter an incorrect password 10 times. If thereisn'tt currently a password set up go to Settings > Options > Security Options > General Settings and set one up.

Once you have entered the password incorrectly 10 times the Blackberry will clear itself and once it starts back up the Setup Wizard appears. You then enter the email address through this.
