How do I change my email address to something different?

3 comments so far

I need to change my email address. How do I do that and still receive emails on my old address? Is there a way to put them together and a notification of what my new email address is?

You can create a second email account on the same Yahoo! account. Sign into Yahoo! Mail, choose Options in the right hand corner, under Management choose Mail Addresses. You can only get one extra mail address for your account.

Click On “Get Started” In this area you can choose the name of your new address. Once you have created the address you can modify how the name will appear to the receipients in the Options/Management/General Preferences section.

To sign up for Yahoo!’s personalized services, just follow the instructions for new users on the sign-in page of any of Yahoo!’s personalized services.

During registration, you’ll be asked to choose a Yahoo! ID and pick a password.

Please Note: Your Yahoo! ID cannot contain special characters or spaces. After you’ve signed up, you can use this same ID and password for all of Yahoo!’s services.

    You could sign up @.
