How would you feel if the only communication you got from your recently departed girlfriend was a mass e-mail?
7 comments so far– a mass e-mail that doesn’t mention you by name? That’s what was in my inbox this morning along with the usual Viagra and Nigerian Lottery e-mails. Krystka returned to Poland on Monday morning on a visa matter.
Her e-mail starts, “Hey Y’All!” and mentions how she just returned from Florida where she stayed with “a nice family and wonderful kids though the pay ******.” (She was our au pair, until my divorce). She mentioned how she earned 12 credits in (junior) college (I paid) and won several meets for the swim team. She does mention the Prada bags, “rad new laptop” and diamond studs I’d bought her, but doesn’t give me credit, just saying that those were “some tokens of her visit.” She ends the missive bashing Bush and “lazy Americans,” and how fat “most” people are here.
Our relationship was hot and heavy, but her e-mail list has 60 names on it and lots of “.pl” addresses, many of whom could be in favor of her settling down in Poland with a local fireman. How should I respond?

Just don’t, you have to remember that in this life most people will retain a certain…child like mentality about them. Just ignore it and move on with your life, there is no need to get into a quarel about the matter. Show that you are the better person by not letting her get the best of you, your dignity is far more valuable than any point to be made through an e-mail.
What a bummer, it looks like she really was only using you.
Maybe you should invite your ex over to watch ER next week?

She was using you, Reality, right up to the end. You were her “sugar daddy” as well as her naughty American sexcapade. She probably took delight in her part coming between you and your wife. She manipulated you better than your wife could ever dream of. If she wanted to contact you, she would have by now. I think she has already put you in her past. I don’t even know that you should respond, but if it makes you feel better or brings you some closure, then go ahead. Just think carefully about what you want to say.
you don’t respond…either she will realize it and make contact or she won’t and you won’t look like a fool….either way works…
She emailed a generic email to everybody.
Give it a few days before you email back. The reason is because she mail just have mailed this generic email to you (too) .. and might email you a person email soon.
It she doesn’t email .. then just thank her for emailing .. and let it go.
