the usual question - does he like me too?

so i stay in malaysia, and recently took a trip to new york for 2 weeks for a friends weddin. i met dis friends brother and we hung out. i’d met him once before, but very casually. however dis time we really bonded and ever since i got back i can think of only him.

while i was there we spent a lot of time 2gether. he used to always drive me around, hold the door open and stuff. if we ever dined with other friends he’d always insist on paying for me as well, despite my protests. we also used to look at each other a lot. but the moment he’d catch me looking at him or i’d catch him lookin at me, we’d look away. so i infer that he is basically a very shy guy. he also told me that he is not interested in a fling but wants to get into a serious relationship with the right girl.

now since i got back he has maintained this radio silence. we dont IM each other or call or text, although v r on each others emailing lists. he texted me once, on my bday and thats all.

so here is my question, does he like me too? or was he just flirting with me when i was there? he didnt sound like the types who just flirt, he seemed to be interested in pursuing a serious relationship. besides he is 29, quite past the flirting age i’d think.
or is he plain not interested? i cant understand the silence! please help!

    maybe he does like you- but finds it weird- because if you 2 went out and it didnt work- then your friends with his brother- and he would see you a lot. and that would be awkward! for the both of you!

    Oh yeah, he definitely likes you. Nobody would go to all that trouble for nothing, and he did say he wants to be in a serious relationship not a fling - all good signs. He seems really shy. If you text him back, you’re letting him know it’s okay to talk to you, you don’t mind talking,etc. good luck!

    Maybe he is just waiting for you to send him something?

    If I was in his position I would wait for you to talk to me first becuase then it would make me feel like you are interseted in me. Hope this helped :]

    i think he likes you. he might not contact you a lot because he doesn’t want to annoy you. try talking to him, instead of waiting.

    btw, some ppl flirt without knowing it. :)

    i would say that he does but from what you mentioned you stay in another country which would be an extremely hard long distance relationship. but dont be afraid to txt him. dont be needy and make him want more to come after you. just initate the converstation
