What’s the best way to line up interviews with indie musicians?

1 comment so far

I’m launching an online music mag, and want to interview indie musicians and get music for future podcasts. I’m doing this to help promote the genre and want to be taken seriously, not viewed as a scammer. What’s the best way to reach as many as possible? I thought about mass emailing, but thought that might be considered spamming.

try to contact them on their myspaces or go to one of their shows and ask them when they are done performing.
