How do I send a mass email privately in Outlook?

1 comment so far

I want to send an email in Outlook to every one of my contacts. How do I send it without each person being able to see who else I sent it to? It is a huge list and I do not want some of my competitors to see who I am sending it to.

    Use bcc

instead of the to: or CC: fields, put all of your contacts in the BCC: field. If it isn’t showing, look around and there should be a way to enable it.

it is good practice when sending out to a large group of people to use a bcc method, as it will not let any viruses, malware, or other bad software from harvesting all the email addresses if one of the recipients machines is infected.
