someone sends emails from my account to everyone on my contact list with link to website selling smth?

someone sends series of emails from my account to everyone on my contacts list, every email goes to 10 people from my contact list.email has link to canadian website selling some medicine, i receive angry replies from my contacts, thinking i did it. i receive this link also, because i have my another account in my contact list. what should i do?

    someone hacked into your account and accessed your contact list, you need to change your password immediately and run a virus scan.

    Sounds like you picked up a virus.
    Immediately have your computer checked for a ‘bug’ or ‘bugs.’ If you have the proper programs, do the scans yourself, if not you need to take your computer to some one who can.
    Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if you do not have one yet.
    I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also.
    After you finish this, then go in and change your password, using a good strong one.
    Then you have to inform all of your contacts that you did not send them those mails, the virus did, and that they need to check their computers for infection, too
